Due to the increasing driver installations for Microsoft Windows products and software, it is possible that a driver conflict may exist between the capture box and other devices that may be installed on your computer.

In the Advanced Mode, use the pull-down menu in the Capture screen to change from 4:3 to 16:9.
If you do not see the word "Enhanced" or "2.0" listed, this would indicate that your computer does not have a USB 2.0 controller card installed. To correct this issue, a USB 2.0 card will need to be installed in your computer.
Due to the limitations of DVD discs, the maximum resolution for DVD is 720x480 NTSC (or 720x576 PAL).Some DVD/VHS combo players may have separate Video/Audio Out ports for DVD and VHS.- TV/VCR combo devices generally do not have VIDEO/AUDIO OUT ports and cannot send video/audio signal.To do that, you will need to open the Record Settings (gears) button at the bottom of the Capture screen in the Advanced Mode and click the Settings button next to the Video Device at top.Next select the Control button and adjust the Video Standard setting within the next window that appears.
